Nancy is a native Minnesotan and earned a bachelor’s degree with majors in social work and sociology graduating magna cum laude from St. Cloud State University. Nancy completed her Master of Business Administration degree from National University. She has completed her coursework for a doctorate degree in organizational leadership at the University of La Verne (ABD).

Nancy has worked in the field of education for over 28 years. At National University, she has held a variety of leadership positions system-wide and regionally in student services, admissions, enrollment management, community relations, and administration. As a long-term resident of San Diego County, she is involved in the local education community, civic activities, schools and charitable organizations.

Nancy serves on the board for Cal-SOAP and the San Diego Council on Literacy. Her professional activities include San Diego LEAD, Campaign for College Opportunity, Dollars for Scholars, NACOL, CUE, ACSD, AACRAO and NACAC. She has dedicated her professional career to broadening educational opportunities for all students.

Nancy currently serves as the General Manager for National University Virtual High School. She is also the Vice Chancellor of Pre-College Programs for the National University System.
