AP Macroeconomics

Learning Outcomes

In this one-semester course, students learn the basics of critical thinking, logical fallacies and academic discourse, while preparing to take the AP Exam. AP Macroeconomics provides students with a thorough understanding of the economic principles that apply to an economic system as a whole. Students learn about scarcity, national income, price determination, economic performance measures, the financial sector, stabilization policies, inflation, unemployment, economic growth, and international economics. The course prepares students for success on the AP Exam and is the equivalent of a college-level course in macroeconomics.

All courses are written to California Department of Education
