Education
Kimberleigh Kopp is a native San Diegan who completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies from National University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Phoenix, which she earned online. Kimberleigh also holds teaching credentials in both California and Arizona and is a NCLB certified teacher in all core subject areas.
Kimberleigh has almost fifteen years of experience working in school libraries and as a classroom teacher. She possesses extensive experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and has advised many student mentorship programs, after-school art and design programs, and community service programs. She also has teaching experience in traditional school settings, charter schools and other online settings.
Kimberleigh is a member of the California Library Association, Learning for Living, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Orange County Consortium of Online Schools, and the North American Council on Online Learning. She enjoys drawing, painting, movies, walking regularly and volunteers at Race Legal in conjunction with the San Diego Police Department.
Along with teaching a select few classes, Kimberleigh currently serves as the Program Manager of Curriculum and Instruction for NUVHS.
