Finding the right college and locating reliable financial aid funding information can be daunting challenges to undertake alone. Planning should start early to be sure a student is preparing academically for the college environment with rigorous coursework, participating in appropriate extracurricular activities, and applying for any necessary financial aid.
College planning can include selecting the correct courses to meet college entrance requirements, choosing a major, completing entrance exams such as the SAT or ACT and researching your prospective colleges. NUVHS recommends that part-time NUVHS students talk to their high school counselors for guidance and support throughout their college search.
