The summer months are coming up quickly, and while high school students are looking forward to a much-needed break, they also need to maintain a competitive edge for college and keep the momentum going - that's where NUVHS comes in.
Students can take college-prep, AP®, and NCAA, NAIA, and UC (a-g) approved courses 100% online to improve their GPA or get ahead for college, without sacrificing summer plans. Courses are rigorous; however, students can study from anywhere in the world and log in any time of day or night. Credits are also transferrable back to the student's home high school.
NUVHS is ACS WASC accredited and AdvancED approved. Courses are led by highly qualified instructors and class sizes are kept small, so students receive the personalized support needed to succeed. Students will collaborate online with other students who are equally disciplined and academically motivated.
The summer term starts April 23, 2018, and runs through August 26, 2018. The last day to enroll in an Advanced Placement (AP®) course is June 29th in order to complete the course during the term. The last day to enroll in a college preparatory course is July 20th. Students must spend a minimum of eight weeks in any Advanced Placement (AP) course and a minimum of four weeks in any college preparatory course.
A one-time application fee of $60 is required for new students. College preparatory course tuition is $310 per semester course and $395 per Advanced Placement course. Some courses may require a materials fee or the purchase or rental of a traditional hard-copy textbook. Please click here to view a handy chart that outlines which courses are designated as AP and/or may require additional materials. You may also review the course syllabi from the course page for additional information.
Don't wait any longer to enroll for our summer program, as classes fill up fast. Fill out the form and an advisor will be in touch.
