Learning Outcomes

In this year-long advanced study of world history, students will cover topics over a two semester period (as designated by "A" and "B" sections). This AP World History course combines historical thinking skills with the in-depth exploration of major course themes such as the interaction between humans and the environment; development and interaction of cultures; state-building, expansion, and interaction of economic systems; and more. Students engage in reading, writing, and discussion as they trace history from before the Common Era to the present.
