Dr. David Brown, Executive Director, and Dr. Warren Stephenson, Coordinator of Visiting Teams for WASC, visited NUVHS on October 6, 2004, for an initial candidacy visit.
According to the WASC Accrediting Commission for Schools procedures, the visiting committee will prepare a report to present to the WASC Accrediting Commission for Schools at their next meeting in January, 2005. The report will include recommendations regarding the school's ongoing improvement. If the Commission's action is favorable, NUVHS will be granted either candidacy or interim accreditation status for a term not to exceed three years.
