The Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA), an alliance of the largest American accrediting associations including the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Accrediting Commission for Schools, approved NUVHS as a candidate for accreditation on November 23, 2004.
Responsible for evaluating and accrediting over 30,000 schools in 100 countries, CITA provides customized accreditation protocols and standards for schools that cross USA regions and for national and international schools around the world. To achieve accreditation, NUVHS will complete a self-study and a team of educators will conduct a site evaluation to verify that NUVHS meets the quality standards set forth by CITA.
