Erika Taylor attended Christian Heritage College, a private university in San Diego, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in liberal studies. She continued her education at National University and earned her California teaching credential and a master's degree though their online program.
While she just earned her administrative credential, she is not sure where her job will take her in the years to come. She hopes to stay involved in secondary education and is driven by a personal desire to empower America's youth. Erika believes her responsibility as a teacher is to find ways to connect with each individual student on a level that helps him/her grasp concepts and successfully apply them to real world situations.
Erika Taylor has been teaching math and health in the Sweetwater Union High School District in California for four years. She joined the NUVHS team in January 2006.
